Erma Kay Arnold, 69, of Ozark, Mo. Went on to be with the Lord Sept 22, 2012. She fought a valiant battle against cancer with her husband and children always at her side She was born July 25, 1943 in Kansas City, MO to Harry Franklin and Erma Viola Lee. Kay is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Albert O. Arnold III, their daughter of Ozark, MO, Lisa Smith husband Dale and their daughter Mackenzie as well as their son of Gardner, KS, Christopher Arnold wife Sarah and their daughter Sadie. After receiving her R.N. From Bethany Hospital in Kansas City, KS Kay married her High School sweetheart and they began a grand and glorious life together. She soon set her career aside in nursing and set out to be the best mother to her children that she could possibly be. She totally succeeded. Kay was a skilled crafter and made may beautiful quilts in her lifetime. She also made many beautiful relationships. She loved people, being around people and encouraging people. She had many lifelong relationships through her entire life. Kay assisted her husband in various business efforts and together they owned and operated Alco Air Conditioning in Murphy, TX. For 28 years. She was Vice President of Operations Kay received Jesus as her Savior at an early age. Her entire life she studied scripture. One of her giftings was that of an exhorter. She was a trusted counselor and a forever friend. The Lord always came first in her life and He caused her to prosper in all that she did. She was on the board of several ministries and was an intercessor and supporter to them. In 2007 Kay and her husband were ordained into ministry and started Eagles Nest Home Fellowship Ministries in Murphy, TX. She has prayed for you if she ever knew you. She had a quick wit a loud laugh. The atmosphere always changed for the better anytime she was near. There was no adversity in your life that she would not come along beside you and, with Jesus, walk with you through it. Heavens gain is a great loss in the earth. Her Memorial Services will be in Overland Park, Kansas at a family gathering. Cremation was under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. On line condolences may be shared at
