Ray Neil Moore

Ray Neil Moore, age 72 passed away Monday, January 7, 2013. Ray spent his final days surrounded by the love of his family and his puppy, Buddy. He was born March 7, 1940 in Randolf County, Arkansas. Ray had been a resident of Ozark for the last eighteen years. Ray had an outstanding will for life. He loved the outdoors, fishing and working in his yard. He was ever sure that life was his forever and perhaps it really is forever. His passion for justice was evident in everything from straight lines he demanded when building something to the recipe that he stipulated be made perfectly. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force serving in South Korea and Germany. He received numerous recognitions for his contribution to his police work in the Milwaukee area, the restaurants that he built where he loved sharing good food with others and his mechanical-trucking expertise. There was hardly anything that Ray could not fix and he will be missed as the "go to man". Ray is preceded in death by his son, John R. Moore. He is survived by his wife, Rita M. Moore of Ozark; two daughters, Cindy M. McConnell and husband Scott of Mountain, AR and Amy L. White and husband James of Gassville, AR; son David R. Moore and his wife Amber of Springfield, MO; four grandchildren Josh Clemence and wife Megan, Jeremy Clemence, Jessi Clemence, Jon Cory Moore, who all cared deeply foe him. Memorial services with full military honors for Ray will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 14, 2013 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO.
