           Robert B. Ikemeier II, age 66 of Ozark, Missouri, was born September 8, 1947 and departed this earth on August 8, 2014 after a courageous two year battle with pancreatic cancer. Bob was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Robert B. Ikemeier and Najabe Jane (Bodway). Bob attended Lindbergh High School, proudly served as a member of U.S. Army and was discharged in September 1969. On November 22, 1969 he was united in marriage to Marsha (Vokracka) Ikemeier. This union was blessed with two children Robyn Ikemeier and Bradley Ikemeier.
      Bob was in the restaurant business for 33 years in both St. Louis and Springfield, Missouri. He was past owner/ operator of Brass Rail in Clayton, Missouri and Bobby I’s in St. Louis. He was also co-owner of J.Parrino's, The Garden Room at Heer's, Metropolitan Grill and was founder and creator of Pasta Express. Bob loved to cook and everyone loved his food. Bob retired in 2004 after heart surgery.
     Bob is survived by his wife Marsha of 44 years; his two children Robyn and Bradley of  Ozark, Missouri; sister Tina Linkul and husband Richard of Spring Hill, Florida; brothers Mark Ikemeier of Union, Missouri, Kurt Ikemeier of Seattle, Washington; in-laws Charles and  Helen Vokracka of Ozark, Missouri, Craig and Karen Vokracka of  St.Louis, Missouri;  several nieces , nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Eric Ikemeier.  
     The family extends special thanks to Mercy Hospice nurses Jennifer and Madeline for their kind and loving care. Bob will be greatly missed by all and especially by his little shadow Gizmo. We love you Bob!  We know you are happily cooking, fishing and playing pinochle with your dad, grandpa and Eric. You will never be forgotten. Until we meet again it is good-bye for now.
     Bob's wishes were to be cremated, private family services will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark.
