Johnny Ray Walker, age 56 of Ozark, Missouri passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2014. John was born in Shreveport, Louisiana  May 14, 1958, son of  M. Willie Walker, and Margaret G. Walker both deceased. John has left behind his loving wife, Karen Carter Walker; two sons, Daniel Walker and his wife Angela granddaughters Ashlyn and Riley and David Michael Walker and his wife Lacy grandson Corbyn; a step-daughter Cira Clement Monnig and her husband Brandon grandchildren Connor, Eva and Gabriella; a step-son Aric Clement and his wife Jada grandchildren Ariannah, Alyssa, Ethan and Jayden. John is also survived  by two loving sisters, Myra Myers, and Charlotte Bissell; five brothers, Mickey, Benny, Bobby, Barry, Carmen; one  deceased brother, David, and a host of nieces, and nephews. Anyone who knew John, also knew his passion for life.  John’s faith in God was strong throughout his life even during times of tribulation. John recognized God’s blessing on a daily basis in every aspect of his life, never allowing his illness to direct or delegate his life. John loved his family, spending time with his grandchildren, traveling, and watching his favorite sports. John’s legacy will serve as the basic foundation in our lives.  His values and beliefs made him the wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend for which so many loved. Funeral services for John will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark  with Pastor Mark Zimmerman officiating. Visitation will held one hour to service time in the funeral home. Burial will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 6 in LC Weaver Memorial Cemetery, Campti, Louisiana.
