William Leon “Juicy” Coffer, 74 of Chadwick, Missouri passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, surrounded by his loving family.  “Juicy” was born November 28, 1942 in Chadwick, Missouri the son of Charley Thomas and Minta Opal (Johnson) Coffer. For 32 years, “Juicy” was a truck driver for various companies and also owned his own trucks during most of his driving career. “Juicy” was a longtime Christian County resident and lived most of his life in the Chadwick area. He enjoyed trading on almost anything but was  particularly fond of trading horses. His family takes comfort in knowing that “Juicy” was saved and they will see him again in Heaven. He also enjoyed spending time with and was very proud of his family, son Jeffrey Leon Coffer and his wife Tonya and daughter Tammy Lyn Coffer Caudill and Michael Holt; grandchildren Gracie, Sara  and Charley Coffer, Dawson Caudill, Megan Swayne and Josh Steele; great-grandson Breccan Chance Caudill.  He is also survived by the mother of his children Linda Spicer; sister Louise Hampton and husband Preston; and their daughter Linda Anderson and husband Jim; nephews Eddie House and Ronnie Bray and a host of other family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Lucille House. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hall Cemetery, T Hwy Oldfield, Missouri. Memorial funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday, March 9, 2017 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to service time Thursday in the funeral home.
